Jasper is sired by Forestglen Lion Heart and is a carbon copy of his father. Big, strong and well fleeced with a very even colour of medium fawn.  Lion Heart was sired by Cedar House Brave Heart who boasts Purrumbete Inti and Benleigh Highland Lass as parents. On the dam's side Lion Heart was from Forestglen Panache, herself sired by Purrumbete El Dorado and Purrumbete Precious Magic.

Almost as a mirror image, Jasper's dam, Forestglen Machaela was sired by Purrumbete Inti and her dam was sired by Purrumbete El Dorado. Gilt Edge Jasper therefore has Purrumbete Inti and Purrumbete El Dorado on each side of his pedigree.

Jasper won Best conformation Huacaya and Best Composite Huacaya at the first Levin Composite show. His fleece winning Reserve Champion as well.

Jasper is powerfully built and well developed for his age. He started to work at just 16 months of age and was certified at 12 months of age.  He now has several cria on the ground and had thrown two blacks out of black dams.

Jasper is jointly owned by  Silverhill Alpacas, Gilt Edge Alpacas and Tironui Alpacas.

His service fees are $900 +GST

Jasper will be at Silverhill Alpacas until end of September 2011
